About us
From a bunch of individuals to a real team
Our story
The Czech Freeride Team was founded in 2024 on the initiative of a group of riders who shared a passion for freeride and the ambition to represent the Czech Republic on the international competition scene. What started as a group of enthusiasts has gradually grown into a team of Czech skiers and snowboarders who regularly compete in the Freeride World Tour Qualifier (FWTQ) series across Europe and beyond.
Every team member has their own style, approach to riding and personal goals. What unites us is the drive to push our own limits, seek out new challenges and show that Czech riders have their place in world freeride too.
Our goal isn't just to race. We are also actively involved in developing the Czech freeride scene, supporting young talent and creating opportunities for the next generation of riders. Through training sessions, workshops and cooperation with mountain resorts, we want to pass on our experience, promote safe riding in off-piste terrain and help Czech freeride grow. We are building an environment in which Czech freeriders can grow, compete and gradually make their mark on the world stage.
Our mission
To represent the Czech Republic at international freeride competitions, grow the freeride community at home and inspire young riders.
Your own path
Every line is unique and every decision has its pros and cons. Each rider has to assess the terrain, the conditions and their own abilities and find the route that makes sense to them. In freeride there's no single right line, but it's always important to know why you chose yours.
Community
We're building a community where it's not just about results, but also about sharing experience, supporting each other and a shared passion for freeride.
Respect for the mountains
The mountains give us freedom, but they also teach us humility. We respect nature, the conditions and the risks that come with every run in off-piste terrain.
Performance
Every season is a new challenge to push our own limits. We train hard, gain experience and compete with respect for our rivals and for the sport.
