The 2027 FWT Qualifier calendar is out

The Freeride World Tour has published the calendar of the 2027 FWT Qualifier series. The European leg starts in January in France, and the new stops include La Thuile in Italy and Riksgränsen in Sweden.

A new season, new venues

On 27 October 2026 the Freeride World Tour published the calendar of the 2027 FWT Qualifier series. Qualifier events are our team's main stage of the season – that's where riders collect ranking points, and they're the road up to the FWT Challenger.

Where we'll be riding

The season opens in December with two Hemu Freeride Festival events, then the series moves to Europe:

  • Hemu Freeride Festival 1* – 9–11 December 2026
  • Hemu Freeride Festival 3* – 12–15 December 2026
  • Freerid'her by Peak Performance 2* – 9–10 January 2027
  • Evolution 2 Freeride Series La Rosière 4* (France) – 13–15 January 2027
  • Evolution 2 Freeride Series Les 7 Laux 2* (France) – 16–17 January 2027
  • La Thuile Rutor Freeride Series by Audant 2* (Italy) – 27–28 February 2027
  • Scandinavian Big Mountain Championship Riksgränsen 3* (Sweden) – 3–5 May 2027

The stars show an event's level – the more stars, the more ranking points. The highest-rated European event in this list is La Rosière at 4*.

New stops

Two venues are new: La Thuile in Italy's Aosta Valley and Riksgränsen in northern Sweden, which runs in May, so the season there ends above the Arctic Circle.

What it means for us

We're heading into Europe with points from Chile's Valle Arpa, and now we know where to go next. We'll add each rider's planned starts to the calendar, and you'll find results in the Results section. The full calendar, including other regions, is on the Freeride World Tour website.
